General Dynamics C4 Systems, based in Taunton, Massachusetts, offers mission-critical computing solutions for defense, government and commercial customers worldwide.

• Interface with our ODM on Agency Issues such as FCC/CSA/UL/CE to assure product compliance with US and EU standards • Understand the ODM quotes for agency testing and approvals for the different products to CSA/EMI and CE standards. • Make sure we have the most current units for testing and the ODM test labs conduct the tests per the agency standards and that we get the most out of the test. • Review all agency test plans to assure it is approved within the Engineering schedule and budget. • Must be able to maintain and support the SharePoint Compliance Engineering web site as it pertains to ODM agency documents and DoC’s. • Need to assure that the ODM’s are testing too and that they have the correct options with the right peripherals for Safety/EMI/Immunity testing. • Being able to address the agency test plan when it necessary to meet the schedule and timeframe to support GD-Itronix. • Generate a test plan to assure the ODM’s at testing to and obtaining the right agency approvals as directed by GD-Itronix. • RF support for radios and antennas suppliers issues with integrated radios/antennas along with end of life support. • Participates as active member of project team. Accepts direction from superiors. Integrates well in a team environment. • Must be able to communicate both verbal and written on cost and schedule with GD-Itronix Compliance Engineering. • Works within the trade space defined (cost/schedule/technology). • Accepts and complies with process/policy requirements. • Applies knowledge effectively in team environment. Able to accept and integrate constructive feedback. • Other duties are required by GD-Itronix management and/or Director of Wireless Strategy. • In-depth knowledge of Compliance/Product Safety certification, evaluation and testing. With CSA/UL/CE product safety and RF design
Highly desirable: • Prefer to have a very good understanding of the manufacturing and engineering release process. RF and EMI background to support FCC/CE/submittals and approvals. • Device certification via worldwide carriers i.e. AT&T, Sprint, Verizon, Vodafone, etc. 7+ years experience
