As a senior hardware and firmware engineer, this position will be responsible for board bring up, hardware & firmware design, development, and debug of current and future generation products. Successful candidate will be a member of the R&D team working in a dynamic environment with the unique opportunity to participate in a wide variety of challenging projects. This position is located in State College, PA and the candidate must be willing to relocate to work out of this facility. All applicants must be a US Person.

Responsibilities:
Develop engineering specifications and component requirements; develop solutions to exceed expectations of customer requirements
Participate in the HW board design - designing and implementing analog & digital circuit designs
Test and verify solutions to meet all functionality, reliability, serviceability, and regulatory requirements
Manage risks associated with the delivery of your assignments and maintain suitable backup options
Utilize your experience with complex subsystem controller design to analyze feature requirement and specify, develop and test embedded firmware

Qualifications:

Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science with a minimum of 5 years related experience. Master's degree prefered
Minimum of 4 years in analog and digital design
Expert in electrical/electronic design and fundamentals, have hands-on working style
Expert in some or all the following areas: PLD, Board schematic and layout, power system, I/O technologies, Microprocessors, CAD Tools/Languages (Spice, PCAD or PADS, Verilog, VHDL), electrical signal analysis, thermo analysis, etc...
Exceptional C Programming skills
Solid understanding of processors, and ARM architecture knowledge
Killer debugging skills with a never give up attitude
Self starter & a leader. Must be able to learn new processors/platforms with little guidance through specs and manuals
Exceptional communications and organizational skills. Understand tasks and priorities and execute with little supervision, in a fast paced and demanding environment
