Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Knowledge of system tactical employment and optimization
Academic knowledge of several specific technical skills and abilities (software, computer hardware, Radio Frequency communications, power distribution, encryption systems, and communications) with an emphasis on one or more disciplines (hardware, software, systems engineering) engineering skills
Ability to maintain commitment to continued learning in order to meet career demands
Duties and Tasks
Primary responsibility is for equipment/system support, using knowledge of system tactical employment and optimization
Documents failures and corrective actions in accordance with proper procedures
Prepares and submits periodic status reports as required by operational procedures
Maintains commitment to continued learning in order to meet career demands
Provides technical support while paired with other more experienced Field Engineers, yet may be required to operate independently on occasion
Education and Experience
Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in an engineering or related technical field or the equivalent experience is required.
In addtion, a minimum of one year of directly related field engineering support experience is required.
A minimum of 3 years of directly related experience is preferred.
Must be able to travel 20% of the time.
Applicant must be capable of obtaining a U.S. security clearance.
Applicant must be a US Citizen.
