The General Dynamics C4 System’s Communication Networks seeks professionals to work closely with our customer to define system security architectures and security concepts and strategies.
Utilizing system modeling tools to present the tasks noted below, the experienced individuals we seek will perform activities such as: - System Architecture Development - System Analysis - Requirements Generation/Definition (at both the system level and the decomposition to subsystems) - System Design (via artifacts such as requirements, use cases, scenarios, DoDAF views, etc)
Working with the business development team on the technical respects of a contract, you will also help to identify opportunities areas in existing programs. In addition, the candidate may be asked to engage in the development of white papers, trade studies, proposals, demonstrations, and other new business development activities. Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills are essential in this position since direct contact with customers and potential customers is required.
Candidates should have experience with the following: - Information Assurance (and how it relates to architecture and design) - Large System Level Certification and Accreditation (DCID6/3, DIACAP, etc) - Architecture Development - Enterprise Services
Experience in some of the following would be beneficial: - Computer Networks and Network Management - Cross Domain Solutions - Digital Policy Management - Identity Management - Key Management
Applicant must have an active TS/SCI clearance
Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree in systems engineering, a related field, or the equivalent experience is required. Advanced degree preferred. In addition, a minimum of 15 years of relevant experience is required, 20 years of relevant experience preferred.
Must be able to travel 20% of the time.
Secret level U.S. DoD security clearance, and U.S. Citizenship is required.
Applicant must be able to pass an extended background investigation (EBI) for this position.
BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or System Engineering with minimum of 15 years experience in system engineering with at least 10 years experience in architecture development, enterprise services and information assurance. Experience in Network and Network Management, System Level Certification and Accreditation, Cross Domain Solutions, Digital Policy Management, Identity Management, Key Management, and/or PKI is preferred. Applicant must have an active TS/SCI clearance.
