General Dynamics C4 Systems develops training, simulation and threat management systems and software that is integrated and fielded to support military and civil-based training. We also develop and maintain Commercial Off The Shelf (COTS) software tools that are designed to provide rapid development and deployment of simulation-based training systems. These COTS software tools include simulation networking, visualization, management and analysis capabilities utilizing standard High Level Architecture (HLA) and Distributed Interactive Simulation (DIS) simulation protocols.
Providing specific subject matter expertise as CACCTUS ingrates additional C2 systems
Providing specific military expertise on real world use cases
Providing subject matter expertise on simulations / connectablity to simulations as they are defined for interoperability with CACCTUS
Experience: Must be at such a leave to be considered a Subject Matter Expert
Strong knowledge of USMC Fires Doctrine, tactics, techniques, and procedures.
Knowledge/skills to train and advise material consistent with the Marine Corps Systems Approach to Training.
Strong knowledge of USMC C2 Systems and their use
MAGTF Operational knowledge
Knowledge of USMC Training Organizations (CAST, MISTC, MCTOG)
Ability to interface to USMC trainers at CACCTUS facilities
Current active USMC contacts to pull latest information regarding evolving Fires concepts
Ability to stand in front of Marines and Contractors and instruct on use of Training Systems
Ability to translate from Marines doctrine to use cases for engineers and trainers
Education and Experience
Minimum of a Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience is required.
In addition, a minimum of 5 years directly related experience is required.
Instructor Training Certification is required.
Must be able to travel 20% of the time.
Secret level U.S. DoD security clearance, and U.S. Citizenship is required.
Applicant must be capable of obtaining a U.S. security clearance.
Applicant must be a US Citizen.
Applicant must be able to pass an extended background investigation (EBI) for this position.
