The General Dynamics C4 System's Federal Systems and Cyber Solutions (FSCS) group seeks professionals to work closely with our customer to implement and operate system security architectures and security concepts and strategies for the CONTEGO Program. All offers are contingent on the award of the information assurance work on CONTEGO to GDC4S FSCS.
The experienced individuals we seek will perform activities such as:
- Developing, directing, and implementing enterprise network cyber defense capabilities
- Managing and assessing the lifecycle of network threats, attack vectors and methods of exploitation
- Auditing security services including insider threats, system vulnerabilities, and compliance to governing standards
- Managing, assessing, and analyzing Computer Network Defense incidents including detection, containment, analysis, and response.
Candidates should have experience with:
- Computer Network theory and IT standards,
- Network Management,
- Fundamentals of layered defense technologies and processes,
- Implementation of systems under DoD and IC Information Assurance guidelines.
Additional desired experience includes:
- Utilization, configuration, and implementation of standard cyber defense capabilities such as content filters, secure email, IOS, IDS/IPS, HBSS, SIEM, DNS security, advanced log analysis, antivirus, Linux/UNIX command line
- Intelligence Community networks
- Malware triage and analysis
- System and network forensics
Applicant must have:
- An active TS/SCI clearance,
- An active DoD 8570.01-M certification (e.g., CEH, Security+, CISSP, ISSEP, ISSAP)
- The ability to travel 20% of the time and eligible to travel to hostile areas,
- The ability to pass an extended background investigation (EBI), and
- U.S. Citizenship.
Education and Experience
BSCS, BSCE, BSSoftE + 5 years of demonstrated results, or equivalent experience
Must be able to travel 20% of the time.
Secret level U.S. DoD security clearance, and U.S. Citizenship is required.
Applicant must be a US Citizen.
Applicant must be able to pass an extended background investigation (EBI) for this position.
BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Software Engineering with a minimum of 5+ years experience in IT engineering, system security architecture, and network operations with at least 3 years experience in network security related operations. Experience in information assurance, system level certification and accreditation, network design, network management, and the intelligence community is preferred.
