MUST HAVE STABLE WORK HISTORY - AT LEAST ONE YEAR AT EACH EMPLOYER
Assembles prefabricated structural steel and aluminum satellite earth terminals and associated components.
Essential Functions: • Assists in the structural assembly of the various antenna sizes, using mechanical hand tools while climbing to heights of up to 150 feet. • Operates electrical drill motors, grinders, saws, impact wrenches, etc. • Performs work area clean-up and safety related duties. • Performs other duties as assigned by management • Support the needs of the senior crew members and supervisor. • Comply with Company and departmental policies, procedures and regulations. • Work during scheduled hours. • Maintain quality output while meeting department production requirements. Hazards • Working around heavy steel structures being lifted into place with cranes and forklifts. • Working around electrical power of up to 440V. • Other conditions or abnormal environmental conditions not mentioned above. - Adverse weather conditions. - Undeveloped countries.

Experience and Education • High School Graduate or equivalent. • Previous job training preferred, but not required.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities • Reading comprehension skills to understand work orders or written instructions. • Mathematical skills to perform basic calculations.
• Oral communication skills to exchange information with co-workers and supervisor. • Ability to read blue prints. • Knowledge of rigging. • Ability to climb and work at heights safely. • Ability to see things clearly that are up to 10 foot radius. • Ability to see small detail. • Ability to work and live in close proximity with other crew members for long periods of time. • Ability to stand for long periods of time. • Ability to respond quickly and calmly to emergency situations. • Ability to adjust quickly to extreme climate changes. • Must have good eye hand coordination. • Must be in excellent physical condition.
Machines and Equipment Involved: • Operates a motor vehicle. • Operates a fork lift. • Operates a crane truck. • Hand tools, open end and box end wrenches, ratchet sets, pipe wrenches, vice grip and standard pliers, hammers (2# and 18#), come-a-longs, slings, boomer and brooms. • Power tools, drills, impacts, ratchets, grinders, sander, etc.
